Central bank deputy governor detained: €100,000 found in flat
Police searched the flat of Dejan Simić, deputy governor of the National Bank of Serbia, today, finding €100,000 in a suitcase. Investigators say the money was brought by a Socialist Party official, Vladan Zagradjanin; both men were detained on suspicion of taking a bribe. The Socialist leader Ivica Dačić left the flat minutes before the raid.
