US sanctions on Naftna industrija Srbije, the country's largest oil company, controlled by Russian entities, took effect today. Serbia was offered the chance to buy out the stake and take the company off the restrictions list, and talks on that are still under way. For the market it means a risk of fuel supply disruption and higher prices at the pumps.
