Belgrade to start removing illegal café terraces from 19 October

Belgrade's city assembly has decided that from 19 October illegally installed summer terraces of cafés and restaurants will be removed within hours, without long notice. The rule applies to those who have taken over pavements, parking spaces and green areas without a permit. Owners are given time to take the structures down themselves, otherwise they cover the cost of removal.
