Yettel Bank becomes the first in Serbia to open accounts fully online

Yettel Bank has launched account opening entirely in its app: a Serbian resident can set up a bank account without visiting a branch or dealing with paperwork. Identification needs a document and a short video check. The bank expects this to attract younger customers and anyone unwilling to queue — other banks still require at least one branch visit.
