Police have arrested seven members of an organised crime group suspected of organising and carrying out two murders. One is the killing of Milan Stoković in the Požarevac area, who was abducted a year ago; the other is the killing of Živko Bakić in Belgrade in January 2026. During the operation, searches were carried out at 20 addresses in Belgrade, Požarevac, Beočin and Smederevska Palanka. Officers seized a pistol, 13 rounds of ammunition, six knives, two extendable batons, binding handcuffs, a GPS tracking device, 525,500 dinars and 26,765 euros. Besides those detained, several other people are covered by the case: some are already in custody in Belgrade, North Macedonia, Greece and Belgium, and one is at large. The suspects are being taken to the Organised Crime Prosecutor's Office.
