Heavy rain caused floods in Istanbul that paralysed airport operations. Flights to and from Turkey are delayed or cancelled, including those between Serbia and Turkey.
Water flooded streets and the lower floors of buildings, and people are being evacuated by rescue boats. The plane carrying Partizan's basketball team was diverted to another airport before a EuroLeague game.
Forecasters warn of more rain in the coming hours. Passengers are advised to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.
