Belgrade police have arrested a 36-year-old man suspected of robbery and twelve aggravated thefts in Novi Beograd.
From June to October 2026 he approached people from behind and tore necklaces from their necks, then sold them. The losses exceed 1.2 million dinars.
A search of the suspect turned up items believed to come from these crimes. The prosecution is continuing the investigation.
