The municipal inspection of the Medijana municipality in Niš issued a decision to remove the stage built for the pre-election rally of the United Serbia list. The structure was found to have been installed without a permit.
By the evening of 20 October the stage was still in place. The organisers did not comment on the decision and no dismantling work had begun.
The rally is scheduled for 21 October, with the music programme starting at around 16:30. The inspection decision can be appealed within eight days, but until it takes effect it does not stop the event.
