Dental services in Serbia's state-run health centres are to become free of charge by the end of 2027. The announcement was made during the election campaign; some services in health centres are currently paid.

The reform covers basic care: check-ups, treatment of cavities, tooth extraction and emergency procedures. Orthodontics, implants and prosthetics will remain paid.

To launch the programme, health centres need additional staff positions and equipment. Exact regional timelines have not been given.
