In the evening, citizens entered the building of the Informer television station. On air, a demand was made of editor-in-chief Dragan Vučićević: "You will come out and say: I deeply apologise to my free Serbian people."
From 18:00 the channel broadcast a programme in which Vučićević claimed there was a "hostage crisis", while a phone call said all police officers were busy. He also said the footage of people outside the building was not live but old.
Banging could be heard in the studio at the time. The police did not publicly comment on the situation.
