Manja Grčić has resigned as director general of Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), the broadcaster's website reported.
Grčić was appointed on 11 February this year. In her explanation she says the decision followed careful consideration of the circumstances in which the public service currently operates and that it is in the institution's interest.
She expects the board, within its legal powers, to take all necessary steps without delay to ensure continuity of management and a lawful handover of duties.
