The Deposit Insurance Agency will start paying Alta banka depositors no later than seven working days after the Belgrade Commercial Court opens bankruptcy proceedings.
Coverage is up to €50,000 per depositor. The agency will announce where the money can be collected and how to file remaining claims in the media and on aod.rs no later than three working days after the court ruling.
Agency director Ljubica Pantelić expects the court to rule as early as Monday, 2 November.
