Serbia's National Bank has filed a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office for Organised Crime against Alta banka as a legal entity and several of its responsible officers.
The prosecutor's office confirmed the complaint arrived by email and asked the Interior Ministry and the SBPOK organised crime unit to act urgently and examine the bank's entire business and the circumstances behind the licence revocation.
On 27 October the prosecutor's office already asked the central bank for data following reports of money being moved from the bank's accounts abroad.
