From 17 to 30 October Belgrade hosts the 58th BEMUS — the classical music festival regarded as the oldest in Serbia. The programme includes symphonic concerts, solo recitals and an opera gala.

Where and when

The main venue is the Kolarac Foundation at Studentski trg 5. Some concerts take place at the National Theatre and in Studio 6. The festival runs for two weeks, with concerts beginning at 20:00.

What tickets cost

Concert tickets cost from 1,000 to 3,000 dinars. The Studio 6 performance is free for visitors. Sales are already open, and the Kolarac hall is small, so tickets for popular evenings are worth buying in advance.

What to keep in mind

Kolarac is in the very centre, on Studentski trg: it is a few minutes on foot from Republic Square, with city transport stops nearby. The programme is laid out by day, so check which concert is on the evening you plan to go.
